Terms
Floth is built on trust, anonymity and safety. Please read these terms carefully before using the app.
1. Who we are
Floth is a social fitness platform and a product of AIX Foundry (aixfoundry.co.uk), a brand of Thing That Matters Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 11081268. We connect people who want to train alongside each other — silently or with audio — in gyms, parks and public spaces.
2. Who can use Floth
You must be 16 or older to create an account. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement. We may ask for age verification at any time.
3. Your account & identity
You train under a nickname, not your real name. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your login with others. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Safety & conduct
Floth has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, abuse, or any behaviour that makes others feel unsafe. Report concerns via the Safety Centre. Repeat offenders are permanently banned. We cooperate fully with law enforcement when required.
5. Location & privacy
Your location is shown as an approximate area — never an exact address. You control location sharing in Safety & privacy settings. We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Rooms & content
Rooms are live training sessions. You agree not to use rooms for anything other than fitness activity. Recording other participants without consent is prohibited. Room audio is not stored by Floth.
7. Partner gyms & PTs
Gym membership verification uses data shared by partner gyms under their own privacy policies. PT profiles are self-submitted; Floth verifies qualifications where possible but does not guarantee accuracy.
8. Subscriptions & payments
Free features are free. Premium features (where applicable) are billed monthly or annually. Cancel any time. Refunds follow our Refund Policy available at floth.app/refunds.
9. Limitation of liability
Floth provides a social platform — we are not a personal trainer, medical provider, or fitness instructor. Always consult a professional before starting a new exercise regime. We are not liable for injuries sustained during or after sessions.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you in-app of material changes. Continued use of Floth after notification means you accept the updated terms.
